Cosmetology After School Program

     In today's educational environment, traditional four-year college degrees may not serve as the best path for all students, especially those from low-income or disadvantaged backgrounds. Our initiative in developing a cosmetic after-school program offers a viable alternative, providing hands-on experience and practical skills tailored to the aspirations of underserved communities.      One of the most pressing challenges faced by underprivileged youth is the financial barrier associated with higher education.      The Cosmetic Technical Training Initiative will operate as an after-school program, structured into engaging weekly segments that cover various aspects of the beauty industry. Each week, students will participate in focused sessions on makeup application, hair styling, nail care, and skincare techniques, allowing them to build a comprehensive skill set over time. Industry professionals will lead these sessions, providing insights and mentorship that enrich the learning experience.
