Join Us in Building Futures: Cosmetology Business Owners Needed!

Are you passionate about cosmetology and have a desire to make a meaningful impact in your community? We invite you to be a part of an exciting new initiative designed to empower and inspire high school students in the Manassas Park community.

What:

We are launching an after-school cosmetology program at Manassas Park High School. This initiative was built to merge students' interests with practical career skills, aiming to provide them with valuable insights and (some) hands-on experience in the fields of makeup, hair, nails, and more. By participating, you’ll support students in bridging the gap between aspirations and post graduation career opportunities.

Who:

We are seeking dedicated cosmetology business owners or experienced professionals who are well-versed in various aspects of the beauty industry, including makeup, hair styling, lash extensions, business and more. Ideal candidates will have a genuine interest in mentoring young talent and sharing their expertise. Whether you run your own salon, run a business via social media, or have significant experience in the field, your involvement will be essential in supporting the program.

Commitment:

Your commitment involves dedicating time once a week for a period of one to two months. Sessions will be held after school from 2:15 PM to 4:10 PM. Starting mid-September.
